About MAFE

Michigan Association for Female Entrepreneurs (MAFE) is a non-profit 501(c)(3), membership-based organization established in 2003. MAFE provides a platform for the exchange of information and ideas through networking events, educational workshops and seminars, entrepreneurial training programs, and business support services.

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to foster the economic growth of women-owned businesses by providing access to education, information, resources, and opportunities focused on business growth and development.

Our goals are to:

Provide women with professional and educational content in an environment in which women can build business alliances and have the opportunity to make connections with like-minded business professionals;

Offer a platform for the exchange of ideas and information through high-level networking events; and

Encourage peer-to-peer support for women business owners in a diverse and positive atmosphere.

About the Founder

Tonya McNeal-Weary formed Michigan Association for Female Entrepreneurs in 2003 with the goal of helping women entrepreneurs gain access to business opportunities, and to encourage women to maximize those opportunities and overcome the challenges facing women business owners today. Read more...
